Esquel Fly Fishing Region.
This region offers a wide variety of quality fishing opportunities. Here in Esquel, we sit on the edge of a transition zone. To the west lie the snow capped peaks of the Andes and to the east the high desert. Driving from Esquel in any direction will take trough dramatically different fishing and climate zones, form dense forested cover slopes with moist mountain air to barren scrub grass plains and dry desert conditions. The snow pack in the Andes provides the entire region with a consistent supply of clear fresh water. Very few areas in Patagonia offer so many distinctly quality fly fishing spots tha this in the Wester Chubut Region. Some of the fishing streams in this area are the famous sprig creek Arroyo Pescado, Río Grande, Río Chubut, Río Corintos, Gualjaina, Willmanco, nant y Fall, and more...
